What we have here is not what one might think. By 1999, U.S. imports of Mitsubishi's all-wheel-drive sports coupe had shrunk to unsustainable levels... less than 300 made the trip... so this rocket is actually a rare car, despite the fact that one can find earlier examples on Craigslist for pennies. What makes the '99 model stand out is obviously the "combat" style wing on the back. While it might look outlandish, considering that the twin-turbo 3 liter V6 puts out a solid 320 horsepower, those aero aids might actually come in handy.
