The Design of Speed

Jaguar E-type

This face is so unforgettable, there is probably no need to identify it here. On our Instagram site (@Design_of_Speed), we have reposted a couple of classic faces from Ferrari already. Now we're featuring the one car that Enzo Ferrari himself once claimed was "... the most beautiful car ever made..." A most appropriate introduction for the Jaguar E-type. The 1966 Series 1 roadster above certainly is a vision of loveliness in blue. It was designed by Malcolm Sayer.

Shown here is a 1972 Series 3 2+2 coupe. Despite the encroaching safety regulations of the 1970's, Jaguar designers were able to keep the car looking gorgeous.

This car is a new Jaguar E-Type Speedster Lightweight, brought to life by Eagle, a company with years of experience as Jaguar specialists. Eagle builds these cars on commission, using upgraded materials and components to create a thoroughly modern version of this most remarkable car. And the face remains unforgettable.
