Ferrari SP12 EC

This Ferrari Special Projects car was commissioned by famed guitarist and notable Ferrari collector Eric Clapton. The SP12 EC is based on the Ferrari 458, and was designed by the carmakers in-house design center in conjuction with Pininfarina. The car's lines and details are meant to evoke memories of the 512 Berlinetta Boxer. The new car, however, does not contain a 12 cylinder engine like the 512 BB, instead relying on the 458's V8 and drivetrain.

The styling of the SP12 EC is clean, but some say it's not as attractive as the original 458. Which probably matters little to Eric Clapton!
