Now we're getting into the very difficult Italian choices. Lamborghini was somewhat easier, because they don't have the sheer number of beautiful cars produced by Ferrari and Maserati. We'll tackle Maserati first, and we are certainly going out on a limb here by selecting the 1969 Ghibli Spyder as the most beautiful Maserati of all (with a shout-out to it's very lovely coupe cousin).
This beautiful roadster was designed by the incomparable Giorgetto Guigiaro of the famous Carrozzeria Ghia design firm.

The Ghibli's lines are simple yet timeless. The front bumper is almost delicate, yet provides a strong definition to the grill.

This early model shows the very spare rear bumper treatment. The later versions were forced by increasing safety regulations to add more material.
Sleek and very sexy, the Ghibli Spyder of the late '60s - early '70s is our pick for most beautiful Maserati ever. What's yours?
