The newest version of Honda/Acura's much beloved supercar, the NSX, has been so widely anticipated, that it's easy to forget the car maker endowed the vehicle with a hybrid powerplant. But this configuration gives the new NSX the power it needs to qualify as a Hot Hybrid.

Lack of power has always been the NSX' Achilles heel; now it has quite a bit: a twin-turbo, 3.5 liter V6 matched with 3 electric motors (2 in the front, one in the back) for a combined output of 573 horsepower. Top speed is a very respectable 191 mph. Not quite Club 200mph territory, but certainly the fastest NSX ever.

The NSX has never had a problem with looking good, and the new version is quite lovely, particularly from lower angles. Honda/Acura is leveraging the design of the NSX in their other models to great effect.
