Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid

For those of you patiently waiting for a four-door to show up in our Hot Hybrid list, your wait is over. Perhaps the big surprise is that we didn't start with the Japanese cars, but they're coming soon. First up in the four-door subcategory is the iconoclastic Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid, a big car with a big name.

New for 2017, this potent Panamera matches the 4 liter, twin-turbo V8 from the regular Panamera Turbo, with a single electric motor, to reach a combined output of 680 horsepower. This actually makes it the second most powerful production Porsche ever produced, second only to that other hot hybrid, the 918 Spyder.

Seems to us that the Panamera looks best from the sides and the rear, as the face is almost forgettable. However, with a top speed of over 190 mph, we can forgive that face for its aerodynamic properties.
