Perhaps the Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid is not roomy enough for your family? Then you'll be happy to hear Porsche has you covered with its hybrid SUV. Unlike the sports sedan, however, the Cayenne comes with a 3 liter twin-turbo V6 that, when coupled with an electric motor, puts out a combined 416 horsepower.

Porsche claims a top speed of 151 mph for the S E-Hybrid, as opposed to the 176 top speed of the conventional Cayenne S Turbo. What we're finding as we research this series, is that 150 mph represents the leading edge of performance for non-supercar hybrids. We'll see that in the next few cars we'll highlight here.

Starting at about $80k, the Cayenne S E-Hybrid is not inexpensive by any means, but no one should expect to be able to obtain a true Hot Hybrid for a bargain price. Technological advancements are expensive.
