The Design of Speed

Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed and Continental Supersports

Well, it's got "Speed" right there in the name, so certainly one would expect Bentley to make good on its promise. Indeed, no one really expects to go 200 mph while traveling in more luxurious surroundings than some very fine hotels are able to provide, but that's what makes the big Bentleys so special. The Flying Spur Speed is shown above; the Continental Supersports below.

And you can have your pick: 2 door coupe for 4 door sports sedan, both come with Bentley's 602 horsepower, 6 liter, twin turbo W12 and all-wheel-drive.

Designed by Dirk van Braeckel, these Bentleys are the absolute kings of the road, although you can track them, like this Continental Supersports. However unlikely a trackday tool the Bentley may seem, the racetrack remains the best place to exercise these brutes to the fullest.
